Through his more than 28 years with Plesner Law Firm, with 19 years as owner and for most of them as head of Plesner’s corporate law team, Jacob has earned recognition as one of the absolute leading specialists in corporate law in Denmark.

For many years, Jacob has been a member of ‘the ‘Expert Committee for Company Law and Securities Law Experts’ appointed by the General Council of the Danish Bar and Law Society and has thus had a central role in the development of corporate and securities law in Denmark. Due to his in-depth knowledge of corporate law regulation in Denmark and a considerable experience with M&A and securities law, Jacob has been a sought-after adviser in a number of significant Danish and international cases over the years.

Jacob primarily advises on company and securities law issues, corporate governance, legal risk management and compliance. He also provides general contractual and commercial legal advice to a number of regular clients. With his practically oriented and professional approach to legal advice, Jacob ensures that the clients’ interests are covered from all angles.

For many years, Jacob served as a member of the Board of Directors of the investment associations ‘Investeringsforeningen Lægernes Invest’ and ‘Kapitalforeningen Lægernes Invest’. He was previously editor of Børsen Ledelse (a leading Danish business journal) with a special focus on board work and a member of Plesner law firm’s Board of Directors.
